Mulberry Academy Shoreditch A Level students celebrate as they achieve top A Levels and secure university places

Today, as students across the country receive their A Level results, students and staff at Mulberry Academy Shoreditch are celebrating their impressive outcome. The Academy has obtained a 97% pass rate at A level, with over 90% of students successfully securing their places at university where they will face their next educational challenge.

An impressive 39% of students at Bethnal Green have managed to obtain the coveted A*-B grades this year; qualifications that will undoubtedly support their future employability.

Individual stand-out performances included: Josh Bevan who achieved an A* in English Literature and a further two B grades and looks forward to studying English at Birkbeck University; Naseem Ahmed achieved AAC grades and will progress to Queen Mary University to study Mechanical Engineering and Sharmin Akthar who secured the top grades she required, ABC, to study BioMedical Sciences at Queen Mary University.

In addition, this has proven to be the Academy’s most successful year ever at AS Level with 31% achieving the top A-B grades. Whilst there were positive results across the board, Maths, Science, Drama and Spanish departments have excelled at AS and Chemistry, History, English Literature and Art were amongst the top performers at A Level.

Their wonderful achievements come as truly deserved rewards for the commitment, dedication and hard work they have brought to their studies, and we wish them every success for their future endeavours. In addition, we would like to thank our committed team of staff who have continually gone over and above in order to support our students in their studies.”
