Year 12 celebrate Amplify Youth Project success

On Monday 8th July, fifteen Year 12 students attended an event celebrating their commitment to a ten week Amplify Youth social action project. Throughout the duration of the project, students took part in workshops that built their leadership skills, confidence and research skills.  They applied their new found knowledge by leading a field trip into Shoreditch, where they interviewed members of the public and several of the students have continued with their projects beyond the scope of the programme.

The range of projects included ideas for sustainable solutions for food poverty and youth-led websites to tackle violent crime. This was a great opportunity for students to celebrate their achievements and network with Credit Suisse and Young Foundation representatives.
