Sheriffs’ Challenge Semi Finals

On Monday 11th February 2019, six of our wonderful Year 12 students participated in the semi-final of the 2019 Sheriffs’ Challenge speaking competition.

In its third year now, the competition has become a highly prestigious event with every one of the sixteen schools in London receiving the support of a livery company.  Our students were so very lucky to have the support of Angela Squire and Edward Nichol from the Worshipful Company of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators with whom the school has long standing and important relationship.

The competition this year was tough, made no easier by the question on which the students had to do an eight minute presentation: ‘What will be the key impacts of the digital revolution on the City of London?’

We are proud and happy to say that we won our heat, beating seven other schools in the process.

Our students did our school very proud and they were well deserved winners.  They will now face just one other school in the final on 4th March which will be held at the Old Bailey. Congratulations to

everyone involved.
