Year 7 STEM day
On Monday 2nd February, A group of Year 7 students spent the day working in teams to design and build a working wind turbine. Part of the project also involved creating a brand, costing and marketing their finished product. Run by the Smallpiece Trust, a charity that provides programmes to promote engineering careers to young people, the project was enjoyable, exciting and engaging – students really enjoyed the day. They worked well together to produce some impressive results which they presented to their peers at the end of the day.
