UPDATE: National Publication of Validated KS4 2015 Results

TOPPING THE CHARTS NATIONALLY AS Mulberry Academy Shoreditch HITS 90%

Following today’s publication of the Department for Education’s Validated KS4 2015 Results, we
are delighted to confirm that our class of 2015 achieved record-breaking GCSE results with a phenomenal 90% of students gaining 5+ A*-C grades including English and Maths. We are now on a national platform competing with some of the most successful and outstanding schools across the country. Mulberry Academy Shoreditch tops the following charts:

Top 1% Nationally for Value Added (Best 8)

Top 1% Nationally for Expected Progress in English

Top 2% Nationally for Expected Progress in Maths

Top 4% Nationally for 5+ A*-C grades including English and Maths

Top 8% Nationally for students achieving the EBACC

Director of Sixth Form, Karen McEwan, commented:
“Our students are indeed a force to be reckoned with; the majority are now in our Sixth Form continuing their studies and following a range of A Level and BTEC pathways. Our students have settled in remarkably well and are continuing to show commitment, drive and dedication to their studies and the demands of A Level studies. A summary of some of our students’ achievements are outlined below:

Ciaron Constable celebrated 7 A*s, including Latin, Triple Science, English Literature and Maths. He hopes to complete a PhD in Natural Science to become a university lecturer

Mithila Sharmin an enthusiastic student of languages joined MAS just 10 months prior to taking her exams. She accomplished 6 A*s, 3As and 2 Bs at GCSE with 5 of those qualifications in 5 different languages.
