KS3 ‘Proud to Be Project’ 2022

Thanks to British Land and wonderful Black British poets Fusion and Chloe Carter and artist manager Chris APL, 90 of our KS3 students took part in workshops creating art and poetry about their cultural roots. 30 wonderful students then performed their work at an evening showcase in front of parents, friends and teachers and again at one of our wonderful House Con Parent and Family events. And most excitingly, 7 of our participants were invited to visit the Queen’s Jubilee celebration at Kensington Palace with their parents to perform their pieces. Thank you to Ms Milton, Fusion, Chloe and Chris for coordinating such a special celebration of our students’ work, backgrounds and experiences. See our students in action here.
