Girls’ Football Match

On Tuesday 30th October, Mulberry Academy Shoreditch girls’ football team continued their unbeaten streak by taking on Mulberry School for Girls. They played four games and came out winners in three games and drew one game.

Khalisa Ali scored four goals, helping the A team to become winners in the first game before coming back from 2-0 down in the second match to draw 2-2.

The B team made up of Year 7 and 8 students won the first game 4-3 and the second game 8-0, with Soumia Kassouri scoring 8 goals in total and Nadine Mhamed running the midfield with tenacious tackling.  The games were played in excellent spirit.
