Charlie Folorunsho held Year 10 spellbound as he performed excerpts from Mojisola Adebayos play, ‘Muhammad Ali and Me’.

Muhammad Ali and Me is the critically acclaimed coming-of-age story of a young black girl growing up in foster care and her fantastical friendship with the legendary, Muhammad Ali.

Charlie found time out of his busy schedule at the Albany theatre in New Cross to come to the academy to enthral the students with exerts from the play, followed by a question and answer session.

The Year 10 students were utterly absorbed and were a credit to themselves, asking some excellent questions.
