Enrichment clubs

At Mulberry Academy Shoreditch, we are proud to offer a rich and varied programme of after-school enrichment opportunities designed to inspire, challenge and support our students beyond the classroom. Through an extensive range of clubs, activities and support programmes, students can pursue their passions, discover new interests, and develop valuable skills that enhance both their academic journey and personal growth. Whether exploring global issues through Model UN, representing the academy in sports tournaments, or taking part in creative arts, our enrichment offer helps students to broaden their horizons, build confidence and nurture their individual talents.

Highlights from our exceptional enrichment programme include:

In April 2021, Mr Stokes launched TrailFam, a trail running crew based here at Mulberry Academy Shoreditch.

TrailFam takes groups of up to 30 students at a time to woodlands, hills and trails in the counties surrounding London. The Fam, as they are called, are currently made up of year 7 and year 12 students, however, TrailFam are expanding to offer trail running sessions to other year groups.

Trail running is an amazing way to engage with nature; with clear physical and mental benefits for our students. TrailFam aims to increase the inclusion, participation and representation of young people in trail running as well as promoting physical and mental wellbeing. It has been very popular with students since it began!

From the start of the Autumn term 2021 TrailFam will provide even more students with the opportunity to engage in trail running and will be forming a race team to take to high profile trail running events.
