Apax Partners Paid Work Placement
Abida Ali, one of the academy’s star Year 12 students, successfully secured a week’s paid placement at Apax Partners, a global British private equity firm that is one of the oldest and largest firms operating on an international basis.
Only four coveted places were available and Abida went through a stringent interview process, so we are extremely proud of her achievement. The placement starts on 23rd July and it is a great opportunity for Abida to gain an insight into the world of finance and obtain an overview of the organisation. Some of the exciting activities lined up for Abida includes working alongside the investment team, completing a research project and having the opportunity to present her work and participate in a workshop covering job skills such as CV writing and interview techniques.
