On Wednesday 12th July 2017, Leeds University presented an information workshop for Year 10, 11 and 12 students.

The first session, targeted at Year 10 and 11 students, focused on choosing the right A Levels.  It highlighted some of the important things to consider like choosing GCSEs enjoyed the most; considering the expectancy of smaller classes so a more in-depth knowledge and understanding would be available once A Levels start; and the understanding what A Levels would best lead to the degree of their choice.

The second and third sessions targeted at Year 12 students, looked at choosing the right course and the right degree.  The presenter spoke about the types of courses available, the university and its particular specialisms and how the campus was laid out (accommodation, local amenities etc.).

The workshop provided students with an overall view of what the next steps should consist of and how to attain this.
