Year 12 Historians

Last term and following a trip in November 2017 to Auschwitz, Year 12 students Tauhida Zaman, Halima Begum, Priya Batra and Sumi Sumona) decided to plant a tree at the end of their project with the Holocaust Educational Trust – Lessons from Auschwitz. The four Historians planted the plum tree in the farm area of the academy as a memorial to the victims and to mark the beginning of the academy’s participation in the annual project. All four girls are now Holocaust Educational Trust ambassadors and have visited several events in London to speak about their experiences.
