Bright Futures – Transition Programme for new Sixth Form students
On Friday 15th September, Nick Bennison from Bright Futures visited the academy to work with our new Year 12 students.
Bright Futures offers a motivating and inspiring programme aimed at those just starting BTEC Level 3 qualifications. Through a series of activity based learning, the students were introduced to techniques which gave them hands on experience to equip them with the necessary attitudes, skills and knowledge to make Sixth Form a resounding success. The students particularly enjoyed the memory techniques and how to effectively and efficiently retain information.
