Year 7 Geography Reward Trip
On Friday 12th May 2017, thirty Year 7 students who showed outstanding work and behaviour in lessons and around the academy were taken on a reward trip to The Crystal, located at the Royal Victoria Dock in east London. The Crystal is an exhibition about sustainable development and is the world’s largest exhibition on the future of cities. Students had an opportunity to explore the interactive exhibition where they were able to test out state-of-the-art technologies that make buildings more efficient. Afterwards, those not afraid of heights got to ride on the Emirates Airline Cable Car over the River Thames. It was an amazing day out and students were inspired by the amazing technologies.
