Volkswagen Visit

On Tuesday 28^th November, students welcomed visitor John Coker, Digital Product Owner from Volkswagen.  Mr Coker met Year 10, 11 and 12 students to discuss his role at Volkswagen and the digital products that they will be implementing throughout the year, across all of their products.

John shared his full earning potential, as well as his educational pathway that led him to become a Digital Product Owner.  He spoke about the importance of education, as well as ThinkForward’s 7 work readiness capabilities.  John will return to the academy to speak to Year 12 & 13 students before we break up for Christmas. The return visit will focus on study pathways and career options, as well John’s desire to become a CEO of a Private Equity Firm or own a company worth over £100 million and how he plans to achieve his goals.
