On Monday 28th June, we launched our Mulberry Schools Trust Societies. The Societies are; History, Science, Economics, English and the Arts, Social Sciences, International Politics Society. It was a wonderful occasion with students from Mulberry School for Girls and Mulberry Academy Shoreditch receiving their new Societies badge, which they will wear proudly on their blazers.

Our speakers were Dr Vanessa Ogden, CEO and Ruth Holden, Executive Head at Mulberry Academy Shoreditch and we were delighted to welcome guests from Queen Mary University, Kings College London and SOAS as well as our Chair of Governors, David Gracie.

The Societies are an inspirational and aspirational programme aimed at providing Year 8 and 9 students with valuable experiences of life and study at Russel Group universities whilst learning a specialised subject and participating in some exciting activities and trips. The programme is also about enrichment and about encouraging students from the schools across the Trust to learn together, develop a passion for their subject and experience international travel and all the trips offered to them. Students will enjoy some fantastic opportunities in their Societies that will equip them for higher education and beyond.
