Finance Manager

Finance Manager

We seek a Finance Manager committed to providing and leading high standards within the Finance team. To be accountable to the Financial Controller and to have overall responsibility for the management of Trust wide finance, currently Mulberry School for Girls and Mulberry University Technology College.  With the ability to communicate to staff and other stakeholders effectively and professionally. A passion and desire to improve standards is also essential.

The main areas of responsibility will be financial management of Mulberry School for Girls and Mulberry UTC. We are looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic professional to play a key role in the financial management of the schools and to be an active member of the school’s back office support team. The ideal candidate will be someone who has:

  • Significant finance experience, ideally working in an educational context but not essential,
  • A relevant accounting qualification or working towards a qualification
  • A high level of drive and motivation
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to work with a high level of accuracy

Experience of using Sage 200 for Education or other similar school finance package is essential.

Science Technician

Science Technician

Fixed term until 31st August 2023

The successful Science Technician will join a team of 2 Science Technicians and a Lead Science Technician. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Head of faculty and Lead Technician to ensure a seamless running of the Science laboratories, providing technical support to teaching staff and students.

You will provide a science technician service for Mulberry School for Girls at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. Implementation and dissemination of all appropriate Health and Safety legislation and guidance with respect to science education, including C.O.S.H.H. to ensure that statutory safety regulations and safe practice is complied with, relating to teacher / technician skills and qualifications and student involvement in the classrooms and workshops.

Exam invigilators

Reference: MAS020
£11.05 per hour, plus £1.61 holiday pay per hour – casual engagement with flexible hours.
Immediate Start.

Mulberry Academy Shoreditch, are recruiting new examination invigilators to join our existing team. Invigilators create the conditions for our students to perform at their very best in their exams. The invigilator’s role is highly regulated and training will be provided.

You will be punctual and reliable, have strong interpersonal skills and a calm, organised attitude, be a committed team player and have a good eye for detail.
