Year 12 students secure engineering work experience

After taking part in a series of Pathways to Engineering workshops that culminated in reaching the final event in March,  Joshua Olasunbo and Fardeed Chowdhury, two of our very own aspirational and hardworking Year 12 students, had the opportunity to apply for work experience at Atkins, the global design and  engineering company.  As a result, both students successfully secured placements starting in late summer, which is a phenomenal achievement .  Joshua and Fardeed’s week of work will help equip them with the  skills and understanding needed in the world of work and is an excellent insight into the engineering industry.

The Sixth Form are immensely proud of Joshua and Fardeed’s achievements and they look forward to sharing their experiences with other students across the academy.
