On Wednesday 15th November, two Sixth Form students from MAS were invited to join Mulberry Schools for Girls at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane for the prestigious Women of the Future Awards event.  Hosted by British broadcaster Tania Bryer of CNBC, the event celebrates the successful achievements of young women across Britain. Now in its twelfth year, the awards continue to unearth and recognise the inspirational stars of tomorrow across diverse sectors.  It was also great to see Dr Ogden, CEO of the Mulberry Schools Trust, feature in the official brochure as one of the judges.  Both Mulberry and MAS students were captivated by the winners’ speeches which were all, naturally, uplifting and inspirational.

It was an amazing evening.  It was my first time going to such a wonderful event like that.  The evening was filled with inspirational women with backgrounds similar to my working class and ethnic minority background.  This made me feel that, with the right support, I too can achieve something extraordinary.   Also  I enjoyed the food and dressing up!
