Sixth Form Opening Evening
Mulberry Academy Shoreditch hosted its Sixth Form Open Evening on Tuesday 21st November 2017. Students from the academy’s Year 11 and students from surrounding schools, were invited to look at our curriculum offer and seek advice from our Sixth Form team on the types of qualifications available to them.
Staff were on hand to showcase a range of courses and pathways and students also had the opportunity to speak to a number of universities and external organisations including LSE, UCL and the University of Leeds. We also had representation from National Citizen Service, the Good Jobs Campaign and the Social Mobility Foundation. We are very proud of our partnership work with organisations and universities, and we work hard to ensure every Sixth Form student has access to the best support, advice and guidance possible.
Sixth Form students from the Student Leadership team and Student Ambassadors were on hand to give the student perspective and talk about life in the Sixth Form. Visitors were able to see that MAS Sixth Form is a supportive learning environment with a focus on academic excellence with a commitment to helping students secure their first choice destination.
