Remembrance Week

From the 5th to the 9th November, students joined the nation in commemorating and remembering the end of World War I in 1918. Students helped to create a waterfall of poppies to mimic the wave of poppies that featured at the Tower of London and then on to the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester. Students from all year groups supported this fantastic work and on Friday 9th the whole school observed a two minute silence to commemorate the end of the first Total war, the loss of life during that conflict and the loss of 67 million lives to war since.
