National Commendation for Exceptional Exam Results

As far as award season goes, MAS has been inundated this year with national plaudits for our students’ exceptional 2015 results.

We are delighted to be nationally recognised again for an exceptional 2015 performance by the Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT).  The data analysis from SSAT has shown that the academy is in the top 10% of non-selective schools nationally for progress made by students between their Key Stage 2 results and their Key Stage 4 results.

We also received a second award recognising our success in enabling students to fulfil their potential.

We are delighted with these achievements and we will be attending a regional awards ceremony where the SSAT Educational Outcomes awards will be presented. This event will highlight and promote the work of high-achieving, improving and innovating schools and teachers.

Sue Williamson, Chief Executive of SSAT said: “It’s my pleasure to commend Mulberry Academy Shoreditch on their excellent 2015 performance, and to have the opportunity to highlight and share their great work at the SSAT Educational Outcomes celebration evening. I have the privilege of visiting a lot of schools and I am always impressed by the creativity of teachers in engaging and inspiring their students.

“I hope that SSAT’s Educational Outcomes awards will highlight professionalism, commitment and hard work of the leaders, teachers and students at Mulberry Academy Shoreditch. Recognising and sharing successes like this is at the heart of SSAT’s mission, so I’m delighted to congratulate Mulberry Academy Shoreditch on their achievement.”

Mark Keary, Principal of Mulberry Academy Shoreditch & CEO of Green Spring Education Trust commented: “Our students continue to impress with their commitment, drive and ambition to be successful. We are proud of the Class of 2015 and look forward to sharing the successes of our current Year 11 and Sixth Formers following this summer’s exams.”
