McKinsey Cricket Tournament
On Thursday 22nd June 2017, the academy’s senior cricket team competed in the McKinsey Cricket Tournament. Our team played three games, winning two and losing one.
The McKinsey cup is an 8-a-side limited over tournament in which every player must bowl at least one over. It was therefore very much a team effort and highlights included a maiden/wicket over from Huzaifuh Hossain; a superb wicket (bowled) for our youngest player, Jubed Kamli; and in the final game, three players scored 20 runs or more – Samin Yasar, Yash Parsottoam and Faizal Thoppayil.
