Latin Trip

On Saturday 8th December,a group of Year 11 Latin students went on a day trip to Bath, providing them with a first-hand insight into the ancient world.

It was a chance for pupils to take in all that the town of Bath has to offer, including its stunning architecture and the Roman Baths which are a significant part of the Latin GCSE syllabus.

Pupils then visited the University of Bath, a highly prestigious and well-recognised Russell Group University. This provided students with an insight into university life and allowed them to consider their future aspirations. The day was rounded off with a visit to Bath’s award-winning Christmas Markets.

It was a highly beneficial and enjoyable day for all pupils who were exceptionally well-behaved throughout and excellent representatives of the school. A wonderful way to end the Christmas term! Well done!

“Bath was brilliant! The day was filled with many delights such as the Baths themselves, the beautiful Christmas markets and the university was awesome! The day was extremely enjoyable!” Nam Hoang, Year 11
