‘I am an engineer get me out of here’ online session
On Monday 17th June, our very own STEMETTES club – an enrichment opportunity that encourages girls to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths – participated in an online event, where they could ask questions to three female engineers and gain invaluable insight into a range of industries. The event was fantastic and creative, which prompted our girls to ask questions related to a range of areas including university, apprenticeships, careers and robots to name but a few!!
The STEMETTES gained a lot from the session and asked if they could participate again in the future.
We have been given further news that one of our STEMETTES was nominated by an engineer and will receive a prize for asking a very intuitive question and for being very engaged throughout the session.
