History Sixth Form trip to York

On Saturday 10th November, a group of Year 13 History students travelled to York from Kings Cross train station to visit the University of York and York St John University. Students toured the campus and were given a tour of the city, which they thoroughly enjoyed. They were also treated to a trip to the Medieval Shambles and visited the Richard III and Henry VII experiences as well as the Viking Jorvik Centre. The students rounded off the day with a walk along York’s Medieval castle walls before heading back to the train station. A thoroughly informative and enjoyable day!
