MAS welcomes Michelin star
On Tuesday 12th December 2017, the academy’s catering and hospitality students welcomed Nikki Morris, Reception Manager, from Michelin star restaurant Locanda Locatelli. Ms Morris shared her journey into the catering and hospitality industry and talked about the various positions the students could apply for. This exceptional information, advice and guidance was of great importance to the students, especially the emphasis on obtaining the relevant qualifications for the right job.
Students were receptive to the information Ms Morris shared and asked many questions that would help develop their knowledge of the catering and hospitality industry.
As a result of the visit, Ms Morris will arrange an opportunity for five students to visit Locanda Locatelli in 2018. They will be given a full tour of the restaurant and speak to members of her team.
