MAS February #iwill campaign

The academy ran another popular #iwill campaign from Monday 5th to Friday 9th February.  The weeklong social action event involved students and teachers writing pledges which were in the form of a goal they needed to achieve within six months. Suggestions included supporting at a local centre or organising a fundraising campaign for a good cause.  After six months, students will get to feedback on how they completed their pledge.   They also completed Social Action Passports to support their roles as Social Action Ambassadors.  The passport will also be reviewed to see how their challenge progressed. Drop in sessions were available to students so they could find out more about the types of challenges they could pursue. Successful students who complete their goals/challenges will be selected to attend a reward trip to Thorpe Park in the summer.
