MAS donates over £1,700 for local foodbank

Following the success of the academy’s fourth WinterFest Programme, students and staff are celebrating the fantastic success of their December 2017 fundraising efforts. The total raised was £1,738.99 and all monies will be donated to the First Love Foundation, the charity responsible for running the Tower Hamlets Foodbank.

The WinterFest programme of activities included: student and staff non-uniform days; a Sixth Form anti-bullying cupcake sale; a staff pantomime; the annual Christmas Jumper Day; staff raffle; and a stall selling personalised money boxes.

As always, we would like to thank all our students, their families and staff for their tremendous contributions, which help to support families and young people in our community.
