On Thursday 8th March, Year 12 Business students went on an educational trip to Cadbury World in Birmingham to learn how to develop a marketing campaign for an internationally branded product.
The students were given a lecture on how to develop marketing campaign for a corporate organisation or a small business. They were also introduced to Cadbury’s marketing techniques including their marketing mix. This was an essential part of the presentation that would directly support the students and help prepare them for their external business exams. Students were enthusiastic to learn about the different types of ingredients used in the production of Cadbury’s chocolate. It was especially exciting for them as it was the first time they experienced an opportunity like this outside of a classroom setting.
Another enjoyable part of the experience was the 4D mini movie and the mini ride which was introduced as a starter to the learning process.
Overall our Year 12 students enjoyed the trip and described it as a “fab experience” and would love to take part in similar trips in the near future.
