The Big Draw 2017

The Big Draw Festival, which takes place every October, promotes visual literacy and the universal language of drawing as a tool for learning, expression and invention. This year the theme, Living Lines, was designed to get creative marks moving and was open to a wide range of interpretations. Here at MAS we decided to draw trains, planes, boats and other moving vehicles during our three-day event (from the 17th -19th October 2017). Students across all year groups were encouraged to join the Big Draw during lunchtime to draw together and create a final piece of art. It was a popular activity enjoyed by students and staff who got the chance to express their creativity and their finished work of art will be displayed in the art department.
